Lyndsey Watson (The Crow Woman · Ancestral Tarot)

Lyndsey Watson reads tarot, but not to tell you what’s coming. Under the name The Crow Woman, she uses the cards as a way of looking honestly at yourself — at the patterns you’re stuck in, the boundaries you’ve never drawn, and the things you may have inherited without noticing.

That last part is her particular focus. She calls the method Ancestral Tarot, and it’s about tracing what she describes as ‘bloodline echoes’ — the anxieties, survival habits and quiet expectations that get handed down a family whether anyone means to pass them on or not. Using the cards to see them clearly is the first step to working out which of them are actually yours, and which you can put down. Her writing and her readings both draw on darker mythic figures — The Morrigan above all, the Celtic goddess of sovereignty and hard transitions — not for drama, but because those stories are honest about upheaval being part of a life.

She works one to one, in longer intuitive spreads, and through workshops on shadow work, boundaries and the turning of the seasons, alongside a good deal of writing that makes some fairly deep ideas readable.

Something to try before you come

Think of one thing you do ‘because that’s how it’s always been done’ in your family — around money, or worry, or saying yes when you mean no. Just naming it is surprisingly hard, and it’s exactly where Lyndsey’s kind of work begins.

Lyndsey brings The Crow Woman to the Mind Body Spirit & Wellness Weekend, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026 at Stockport Masonic Guildhall — one of over 70 readers, healers and stallholders across the two days.
